May’s Lawn Care is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing landscaping division. Working directly under the Landscape Division Manager, this individual will play an important role in coordinating daily operations and ensuring our crews are properly prepared, equipped, and organized for both upcoming and ongoing projects.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-driven individual with strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and takes pride in helping projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Position Overview:
Typical weekly duties include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain stock material inventory.
- Inventory orders, tag for jobs, organize remainder.
- Source plant material, place orders, and schedule pickup/delivery.
- Communicate with customers for upcoming jobs.
- Communicate change orders with customers and Accounts Manager to ensure billing is correct.
- Manage utility locates for current and upcoming jobs.
- Pick up material, rental equipment, Lowe’s supplies, and run other errands.
- Assist Project Manager with other duties as required.
